What would the advent be without the Brixen Christmas Market? For the 26^th time the Brixen Christmas Market transforms Cathedral Square in a magic winterly atmosphere and has therefore become a must for the most beautiful time of the year. A place for a cosy gathering with some mulled wine and home made specialties, to stroll among the deli stalls and to admire the traditional as well as innovative handicrafts. Various choirs and bands, craftsmen exhibitions and carriage rides through the old city centre round up the pre Christmas programme.

Opening hours Christmas Market:

Workdays from 10 am to 8.30 pm, on Sundays and holidays from 9.30 am to 8 pm

24^th December and 31^st December 2016 from 10 am to 5 pm

On 1^st January 2017 from 12 to 8 pm

(on 25^th December the market is closed)
